Mofilm Diversity Pledge

Quarter One, 2021

At Mofilm, the idea of diverse thinking leading to better work has been true since our inception a decade ago. Last year it became increasingly clear that our unique offering of access to a global network of diverse creatives was a solution the industry desperately needed. We believe that many voices and perspectives are necessary in order to create inclusive, authentic content that truly reflects the world we live in. In 2020 we decided to fully embrace this ethos, and we’re proud to share some of the concrete results of our efforts.

In Q1 of 2021, we engaged with 97 Creatives across 16 productions; 39 of which were presented to our clients for commission.

  • Of these 39 Creatives, 49% were women, 54% identify as POC

  • Within the 16 productions, 63% were women, and 56% identify as POC

We’re proud to provide opportunities for emerging talent and underrepresented voices, and give brands the platform to create content for the people by the people. We’re grateful to have such amazing clients who believe, as we do, that the best content is culturally nuanced at its core. The Mofilm Creative Community is extremely powerful, capable of delivering incredibly high-quality content that speaks directly to real people.

Ultimately, while we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, we know it’s important to never cease pushing the needle forward, expanding the scope of our inclusive practices. This continued evolution is a necessary practice in ensuring that everything we create truly reflects the world we live in.
